School Policies & Guidelines

Our policies exist to create a safe, fair and excellent learning environment for all students, staff and families.

Child Safeguarding Policy

Hillfort is fully committed to the safety and welfare of every child in our care. All staff are trained in child safeguarding and we have clear procedures for reporting and responding to concerns. The safety of every child is non-negotiable.

Anti-Bullying Policy

We have zero tolerance for bullying of any kind — physical, verbal, social or cyberbullying. All incidents are investigated thoroughly and dealt with firmly. We teach students to be upstanders, not bystanders.

Academic Integrity Policy

All students are expected to submit original work. Plagiarism, cheating in examinations, or dishonest academic practices will result in serious disciplinary consequences.

Mobile Phone Policy

Mobile phones are not permitted in classrooms or during school hours. Phones brought to school must be kept in bags and switched off. Violations result in the phone being confiscated until parent collection.

Uniform Policy

All students must wear the correct Hillfort uniform every day. See our Uniform Guide for full details. Students who arrive out of uniform may be sent home to change.

Data Protection & Privacy Policy

We collect and process personal data in accordance with Nigeria's NDPR regulations. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we use and protect your data.
